Arnold Foodbank were very honoured to be acknowledged with a Special Award in this years Pride of Gedling Awards. This is a reflection on our local community – donors, volunteers, Support staff and all who contribute to ensuring that people have someone to turn to when they are in need. Thanks to all.
The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year 2,5 million three-day emergency food supplies were distributed to people in crisis.
